Design

Because our certified dealers are experts on our lift products, they will offer you excellent advice on features and design options that suit your requirements and needs.

Quotation

Your Cibes dealer will create a quotation for your lift. At this point in the process, you also get lift drawings, advice on site preparations and a preliminary time plan.

Order

You get a fixed time plan and can apply for planning permission. Your Cibes dealer handles the contacts with our factory and makes the necessary transport arrangements.

Installation

Lift installation must be performed by your Cibes dealer or a certified installation partner. This is to ensure that the installer has the skills and training to install our lifts.

Lift installation requires planning permission

Apply for planning permission

Even though installing a Cibes lift requires minimal construction work, you still need to get planning permission. To avoid unnecessary installation delays, it is important that you apply for planning permission in time. Your Cibes dealer will assist you with the necessary technical information for your application, but in general it is the property owner who needs to apply.

Site preparations

Depending on the placement, configuration, model, and design options of your Cibes lift, site preparations will differ. For example, if your lift goes through the floor, a builder needs to create openings between the floors. But if the lift is installed inside an open stairwell, or leans against a loft landing, floor openings are not necessary.

Your Cibes dealer will inform you and your builder about the necessary site checks and preparations. Although some building preparations are necessary, Cibes platform and cabin lift solutions require much less construction work than conventional lifts.

Installation check & inspection

As soon as your lift is installed, your Cibes dealer will make a thorough safety check of the installation. Once the safety check is complete, Cibes issues a EU Declaration of Conformity, allowing your lift to carry the CE mark. Many countries also require a third party inspection of the lift before it is put into service. Please contact your Cibes dealer for more information.
